Hi, I'm 17 years old and I was wondering if I need to have a drivers license or a learners permit before I can get a motorcycle permit or license in Georgia. I've called driver services, but every time I ask, I get a different answer. So if any of you guys could help me that would be great.

Well I am planning on getting both, but since I cannot get a class c until Im 18,(ill turn 18 before the 1 year requirement on the class cp) I figured I would just get a bike if I can. So if anyone knows anything about that, If a class m or mp license requires a class c or cp.
