What up am looking into stunting out my r6 i know its not best bike to stunt but thats what i got. Any info on changes i should do to it? And what do you guys think about stunting on my r6

 

ive gotta an r6 but im gonna sell it for an f4i cause ive heard that the r6's are too fragile for stunting and there frames arent very strong either but some people still use them, talk to wheeliest he stunts an r6. Hope this helps.

i stunt my 05 r6 and i love it !!!! just be carefull when and if you ever 12 it. dont get me wrong you can do some sick 12's, but maybe before you try it thats if its your first you might want to reinforce the subframe up a little.

i stunt a r6 and i fucked a subframe up. where did you put your supports when you reinforced the subframe ?

 

supports from the footpegs up to the 12 bar are a must with factory subframes, or you could get a new subframe that stronger, but i havent show anyone mine yet

 

i made some that are pretty sturdy, ill have to take some pics when im not at work.

 

If you reinforce yor subframe, like i did i used 1/2 inch plate on both
out-side sides, and both in-side sides starting from the where it bolts to the frame to the passenger sets, i also put a reinforcement on the inside of the subframe between the passenger sets. (from one passenger set to the other). its work GREAT for me so far.

 

i stunt an 05 r6 and i too fckd up my sub frame. that's what the shop says but i can't even see where it's bent so im still ridin it.by the way no one take your bike to brets motorsports in lake county florida city- Tavares they will rip you off....

 

The 03-05 aka the 06 and up "S" model is money for stunt riding.

nothin for nothin but do they really like them or does there sponsor say they like them? i'm just thinkin that t-neck and clem gave up there 636 and f4i respectivly for r6's cause warped gave them the bike. the two most popular bikes in all of stunting. don't get me wrong i would give up my crunchy gsxr in a heart beat for a shiny new r6

 

I have an S model and my buddies all told me to get an R model but I don't really know what the difference is. I love my bike I've got more money in it than I'd admit to and nothing I paid for got done. Don't take your bike to brets motor sports in tavares lake co fl.... They will rip you off...

A Town Customs or Sick Innovations R6 sub frame

No matter how much you weld to your stock one eventually it will break again...ive welded mine up three time and looped a stoppie the other day and snapped it in half

a steel one is worth the 350 bucks

 

Anyone have the number for SIC, i didnt know they made a subby for the R6, wait is it a subby for the R6S or the R6R??

 

i may be wrong but i believe SI quit making subs cuz they were having issues with fitment. www.myspace.com/atowncustoms sells a really nice aftermarket subframe with an internal 12bar.

 

I stunt a r6 i love it!!! Steel subframe dual caliper hb w/ brembo sick cage and powers sub cage, the subframes are garbage, i made one for 50 bucks at home depot
