we were led there under false pretenses.
we were convinced we would get oil from them, which we haven't.
we spend billions and billions and BILLIONS of dollars over there while our own economy is crumbling.
we are fighting a war we cannot win. What would winning even BE at this point? Them surrendering??? Sorry, but guerrillas don't just wave a white flag and surrender. Its not the country and its military we're fighting.
i'm not saying we can just pull out now. i have no idea what the best thing would be to do now, but i do know that we never should have been there in the first place.

Is the billions and billions being spent there why its crumbling, or is it because Americans went out and tried to live way beyond their means and buy $300,000 houses on their $40,000 income and had their house foreclosed on? The banks were a major part of the problem because when everything was going really good from 03-06 they were giving loans to anyone and everyone to make money for the bank(and fill their pockets too). Then as people start to realize they cant afford 2 hummers and a mansion on their factory worker income they run to the government asking for a ******* bailout.
but I agree we cant win the war in Iraq. I dont think we could have "won" that war from the beginning, but Iraq is a better place now. Atleast the women and children dont have to worry and Sadam Hussein sending troops into their village to kill them anymore.
Afghanistan, I have no idea what to do over there except bomb the whole ******* place and hope we get Osama Bin Laden
