dude, you dont have to apologize, you were just helping me out, and you had no idea. plus i havent put the other rotor on yet to see if thats the problem. i will put it on before the weekend so i can see. i have been trying to work out the other problems i'm having with the bike first.

 

I sent you a message on myspace, but Ill ask here too. Does your HB caliper get really hot when you ride? My buddy with the same setup was checking his rear pressure and happend to bump the caliper with his arm and it was really hot. We checked mine, and it was the same way. Its like its getting heat from slightly rubbing the rotor. It seems like it could be because the powder coat is too thick on the adapter, so that is spacing the caliper in just a hair too much. I havent had a chance to really look at it yet, but was wondering if you noticed the same thing

 

I might have a bent one, I'll check when I go home this weekend

Thats what Im curious to know. I was trying to see what would make the caliper get that hot, considering normal front and rears stay cool.

I cant go downtown on the 954, and I dont feel like putting a headlight on the 636. I am down to ride at FedEx though

I need another rear rotor, I might have one at home but I can't remember

 

I need to pull a tire off of that rim for whacky so I can send it out tomorrow. I will give Jerry a call because he said something about swapping some tires this week.

And if your using FB your HB caliper will get some heat applied through the bracket to it.. but who uses just FB anymore..lol

 

Damn man, Im sorry to hear that. Yea that makes some sense, but it was a lot hotter that the FB caliper.
