I am riding thursday night if anyone else wants to ride. North spot around 7:30. The f4i is still in pieces but I installed a 2008 kx100 front end on the drz and resprung it for my weight so I really want to try it out.

i just got all my **** 4 my handbrake....anyone have any suggestions??
here's my setup....dual caliper...homemade bracket (i will post pics of the gorilla turds i put on this thing, hohey if it doesn't fly) with a 636 radial master....i bitched out and skipped on the brembo cause i got it basically new for under $95 shipped with the resivor and everything...any thoughts??? ill post pics next week or so....btw im gonna make the trip down that way VERY SOON....im a lone ranger down here

Dude be carefull with the home made dual caliper bracket its worth spending some money on its you life on the line you go to get on the brake while you in high chair and that bracket snaps your gonna have a real bad day

 

i hear ya....im aware of the consequences....the only thing that has me a bit shady about doing it is the "welding cast aluminum" part.....i dunno i may call up hai but im gonna try it....and we'll see the result...im not just gonna stab on some bs a c if it works.....i'll make it really beefy, i have a good idea for it...but thans 4 the : 2cents

I've never seen a homemade bracket weld job break. More gorilla turds, the better...I think?

 

The weld job on the f4i was ehh so so. It was big scotts old one, before the hohey sponsorship. But the one on my 929 was ****. Just ask Ryan. The **** looked like I bought it from ronayers.com

that kit is/looks badass.....i hear hohey has the cnc stuff down pat.....that kits a nice price with the line and all, (about $240, right ) hell i just spent $75 on just a line....for my bastard bracket...but the again....i gotta build or buy a cage too....many other things also....hadn't had the bike long u know....anyone no where i can get a double seat tail (sub and everything) im tired of the shitty katana seat, not to mention seat-standers are kinda shady....its mushy like a freakin girly pillow

 

Kevins bracket broke and it was welded at a shop

 

see what im worried about is it breaking right next to the weld on the gusset im gonna make, only cause it's cast, but i don't know we'll see...that hohey bracket sure looks nice
