mine took an *** whoopin before it broke... the caliper is all ground down from taking so many hits

 

really....i'll take pics...and feel free to hate or congratulate at will, im always open to suggestions...i still have to get an argon bottle tho so...we'll see how long before i can get it welded up, but i will have my handbrake stuff in middle of next week, my bracket will be bigger and beefier than the hohey, but only cause i figure it has to be since the stock brackets i'll be welding to are cast aluminum

 

Anarchist... I'll sell you my welded bracket for the f4i for $40 shipped. It works great and has lasted forever. I just wanted the four piston caliper setup from hohey for easier one finger braking. I also have a caliper for it if you need one.

 

nahh....thanks....i can make my own...but what do you mean 4 piston setup....i thought rears were 1 piston....already have another caliper and bracket anyways, u rockin a brembo also??

hohey makes an adapter for a front four piston caliper to fit on a bracket for a hand brake...

 

I have a brembo 16x18 with the hohey bracket that uses a 929 front caliper.

I'll post some pics tomorrow or sunday. I am away from the bike right now but the bracket works great. It has been through big scott, sambo and me with no problems. It uses a stock rear caliper.

 

hmmm...that sounds nice....929 caliper....i definitely wanna c that....does anyone know if the 03-04 600rr calipers are the same as a 929/954rr they are those same gold looking nissin 4 piston ones.

 

They're the same.

03-04 600RR, all F4i's, 929, and 954 are all the same.

i have 2 minty 03 600rr calipers....i may sell one if someone needs one, but then again i may keep them both cause i don't have a 929 front yet....i may need the calipers, but i don't know yet
