Re: Titanium 12 plates

I have titanium at work. I just made me a pair of titanium toe sliders. The white sparks look cool. I can't do 12 0`clocks but I'm still going to make me a titanium 12 bar.

Re: Titanium 12 plates

What is the best grade Titanium to use (does it matter). I have been giveing some thought to alternate mounting methods using the stock holes in the 12 bar. I want to order the plate soon though so I can figure it out.

I dont think its really critical which alloy of it you use for this application.. if the stock is thick enough we could counter sink allen bolts in to the bar

Re: Titanium 12 plates

The thickest I have seen is .278", The one on my bike is .250" and is barely used. I am checking another place that may be able to drill holes as well as cut the plates. If they can than I will get some bolts that will fit in a recessed hole.
