Today emergency crews spent several hours trying to get an unfortunate drowning victim out of lake michigan today. The water was so murky, diving crews could not see any more then 2 inches away. The on site Emergency Management officials opted to drag a line, from a boat, along the suspected drowning site in an attempt to "pull" the victim out of the water. Crews later used an underwater radar when it arrived after being stuck in traffic. After several hours of searching, crews finally found the victim and pulled him out of the water. But their efforts were in vain. After several minutes of CPR and defibrillatorations, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.



Officials will not release a name until the bet is settled as to what species of fish the victim was.
