Anyone know how to replace fork seals?

Hey, I gotta replace one of the fork seals on the Gixser. Does anyone out there know how its done or how long it'll take?

yeah it sucks and it takes forever... don't bother with them, take it to someone...

Nord-Ride. Can't vouch enough for their quality of work. Have you seen my bike lately? This is what it looked like a little over a year ago....

It was in worse shape then it looked too...

I think it would be a good learning experince but if you want it done fast have someone do it. You could pull the shock out and just give them it to rebuild it would most likely be the cheapest way of doing it.

Also make sure the Shock rod does not have any nicks on it that will cut a new seal.

If you decide to do it I could help you but would prefer you have a service manual.

RT's custom (810-614-6143) ask for tim and tell him that Evoy sent ya it will be cheeper than anywhere you find other than doing it your self
