LMAO this couldn't have happened to a better company. Sorry to all you people that thought TOYota was such a great car company.. Too bad their trucks are such a pile of chit...

Re: TOY ota trucks

If you only have 10 apples on the tree one is a BIG deal. There is numerous of complaints about this truck from LOYAL Toyota buyers. The tranmissions and the tailgates are the major ones at this time. It takes alot of complaints to be knocked off consumers reports recommended buy list.

Re: TOY ota trucks

my point was how many car/trucks manufacturer's always produce perfect cars/trucks? every manufacturer has a dud now and then i was not refereing to the individual truck itself. like for instance fords 7.3 great engine, but the 6.0 on the other hand sanitation. thats all i was trying to say. besides its about time everyone else stepped up

Yes, but your screen name has the word "camry" in it, so I believe you are biased.

Re: TOY ota trucks

This is bull. How come when Toyota or Honda puts out a crappy car everyone gives them sympathy and says it's ok. One of the Detroit 3 put out a bad car and holy sh*t - it's the end of the world! Sell your stock now! GM makes quality products but people would rather quote what they hear other people saying than do their own research and look at the numbers. I think it's just a fad to be all for the foreign auto makers.

I think we end up having this conversation at least once every 2 or 3 months...

Re: TOY ota trucks

I dunno it seems to get uglier every time I look at it. The new one seems to get worse. The front end just seems odd.. like unfinished or something. To me it looks like they are trying to mold like the other trucks but cant seem to get their own look.

Only toyota truck worth owning is an old beater you paid under $500 for with a 22r/22re engine. The japanese suck at making V8's and they suck at making transmissions that hold up to V8 torque.
