Re: TOY ota trucks

Im rocking a 1994 toyota pickup with 350,000 on original 22re motor, all I have ever done is alternators and starters.. The 22re is by far the best motor toyota has ever made in my opinion thats why I still drive a 1994 instead of a new one. I have owned many Pre 1985 celicas that had this same motor with many many miles and abuse thanks to Bud light... I will stand by my 22re toyota till the day I die but every other new toyota can lick my *****... 22re For the win

Re: TOY ota trucks

my dad had an 1989 toyota pickup, the small low ones. he bought it brand new and had over 200,000 miles on it. the bed was rusting away but ran like a top and never burned or leaked any oil. some guy bought it then and was sending it to the dominican republic for like a taxi. pile like 30 ppl in the bed

Re: TOY ota trucks

Toyota makes good vehicles. But so does almost everyone now. I think what bothers most is the fact they NEVER get bad press though. Now that they are becoming the size of companys like GM, they are running into the same "mass production" problems the Big Three encounterd a long time ago. Sometimes it seems like your trying to turn the titanic in a fishing pond while working in companys that big. Toyota will continue to have the same problems as the big three and people will realize theres not much difference in the quality between any of the manufactures. I believe Toyota has actually recalled more vehicles in the last two years than any of the big three. Buy what looks good, if it was made in the USA........well that's a bonus and be proud of yourself that you supported American jobs.

Re: TOY ota trucks

I bought a Ford and love it. I am sure I would have been happy with the Chevy/GMC too but the price and the look of the Ford did it for me. I didnt even give a chance to check out Toyota or Nissian becuase I think Dan chains himself to a tree everytime a import dealer tries to build a lot near flint.
