Re: Bills gsxr...
I checked out the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website where you can view complaints, FILE COMPLAINTS, and see what investigations are currently underway. I found 4 complaints on 2005 / 2006 Suzuki frames
You can search under 2006 Suzuki GSXR1000
or by case number
Case numbers: 10169299, 10200651, 10161883, 10135945,

Re: Bills gsxr...
Thank GOD Bill is ok.
I GOT RID OF MY K5 1000 BECAUSE OF WORRIES OVER THE FRAME ISSUE Back in Late April and I went Back to a Hayabusa Knowing I will never have to worry about the frame.
SUZUKI should make an All Extruded Aluminum frame "replacement" recall for the K5,K6 and do it Now! Before more people get hurt.
Being that I weigh 300 ish I was always skittish about my K5 and was always checking for signs of failure in that very spot where Bill's and many other's Cracked.
That K5 was my all time favorite bike the Quickest Most capable bike I ever owned, and I miss it but I dont miss the worry.
There are no other bikes out there that I have seen doing what these K5,K6 are doing except I did see a few zx10's in 04 that had cracked frames.
NOBODY should have this worry about frame failure no matter how many wheelies and hard landings, this is pure B.S. that Suzuki is Not addressing this problem, this NEW Frame Tech sucks! I say bring back frames that are extruded like the 2001,2002 GSXR's.

Re: Bills gsxr...
if you handle suzuki like an adult, get all your paper work in order they will cover it. You have to be relentless though. I was the third owner of my 97 TLS that had a broken frame and they gave me a brand new one. The dealer was going to put it together for me but I had it polished and did all the work myself.
