Bill AKA 01dynoedr1 wrecked last night while out riding with todd, kim, and myself. We were doing the "V" loop, and his frame snapped on his 06 gix. It sent the front wheel into the engine and sent Bill over the bars... THey airlifed him as a precaution... he is going to be ok... but his arm is very busted up...
Give me a call if you whant to know where he is so you can visit him.
Please dont ask questions about the crash, I wont post any more about it on a public forum..

 

Glad to hear he is ok, hopefully his injuries arent to bad and he makes a full recovery!

 

Suzuki Is one fucked up company, to know that all there bikes are breaking in half and it seems like they dont even give a ****!

 

No crap, last week we posted "as a joke" pictures of the GSXR frames breaking just to give Bill some crap about his bike. Guess we jinxed him. I would sure think with as many of these stories I've heard Suzuki breaking frames they should be paying a bit more attention to the harm this is causing. Glad to hear Bill will be okay.

 

Is this serious? I seen your calls last night Matt but I was busy with family function. I will call you in a bit or Dan to see if this is real and go see him..

That's sad to hear. Best wishes on a speedy recovery. This isnt the 1st time I've heard about this happening to the 06 gixxer 1k.

 

Had an 06 1k and everytime you put it down you know it wasn't a good frame. After all the stories about it I traded it for an 07 600rr. I wouldn't get a suzuki. Thank **** he's alright.

 

Matt visited up at the hospital last night (Tuesday) and it looks like they were going to release him. His arm is still a huge pile of bandages. Hopefully he was allowed to go home and the hospital did not decide to keep him for another night...

 

I am home now (wed morning) but i have to go back for a third surgury thursday. not sure yet what will happen from there. besides plenty of road rash, my right elbow is shattered/missing. gotta figure out what bones/pieces we can use and what will be replaced w/ metal. Good news is it looks like I will live, bad news is were not sure when/If I might get back to work really no tellin right now. depends on the next couple surgeries,then recovery (I'm sure phys therepy.ect.) gonna start makin phone calls soon to get a lawer,I dont know where that will lead-hopefully if nothing else we can get suzuki to recall these bikes so others dont have to suffer. my wife and doughter have been thru hell the last few days.This was not my fualt. I did'nt do anything I havent done before. most of you I ride w/ are as hard or harder on your bikes than I have been.Like Matt mentioned I babied this bike and loved it. it was not by any means a stunt bike. I was just cruzin at about 60mph when the frame broke

 

Glad to hear you are relatively ok and wish you a full a quick recovery. However, I would have that post edited.
