I just got the details on Oliver. On Saturday at 12pm at the saint pius hall which i believe is right off corunna rd a gathering will be held for friends and family. THIS IS NOT A FUNERAL. Oliver did not want a funeral he did not believe in catholicism. If it is nice out it would be great for you guys to ride the bikes up there he would have liked that. For those going to Mickeys wedding like myself that day i hope you will still plan on attending even if its for 30 minutes. I say we try to meet at say arbys around 11-11:30 at arbys and ride to the hall.

I figured he might not want a funeral. He was'nt a man of faith. and he probly saw a funeral as an imposition on people-he wouldnt want to be a burden or inconvenience on anyone. He was just that way. I will be there on Sat.

Okay, I'll change the thread title to include details. As Demetrius suggested, let's meet at ARBY"S on Dort Hwy. this Saturday at 11:00 for a memorial ride to St.Pius. Please, everyone make it rain or shine on the bike. Obviously, if it's a "down poor" lets revert to cars. But getting a little wet won't hurt any of us on the bikes for minor rain. PLEASE PASS ALONG, all the riders that knew Oliver together would be very nice and I know he would like that.

As far as i know the easiest way to get to it is to come off Miller Rd by Fudruckers,Qdoba. We should prob plan how to get there now like Atherton to Ballanger to Miller or something.

It's absolutely unbelievable that something like this happened. I've had limited access to the internet this last week or so, due to a family crisis. But to get this news was just horrible.
Oliver was one of the guys that I always looked forward to riding with, and occasionally talking to over the phone. He will be missed greatly. Melissa and I should be at the Memorial Ride.
