Yeah, cuz I'm sure that all those motorcycle accidents happened at absolute top speed.
Even if they restrict it to 65mph, the majority of accidents happen at city street speeds, and usually involve CARS. So howzabout some increased motorcyclist road awareness endeavors instead!
It kills me that as a society we would rather demand that our cars be idiot proof crash-capsules with more & more airbags etc for AFTER the point of impact, instead of averting the problem by raising driver skill demands!

(NO he has never seen me naked, just referring to a couple threads, etc where he was picking on me a while ago, for those who don't get the joke.)

Edit: But I have just had it clarified for me that that is actually what the Telly Savalis is.. I had heard slightly differently before.

If anyone saw the pic of you when you got your roadrash, they would think twice about comparing your *** to a 6yr olds. You have some damn nice curves IMO........

That won't be that easy, if motorcycle companies get involved in this.
Take the new Kawa ZZ-R1400,
it'll need major modifications to run over 300Km/h, since it's all in its eprom.
it becomes quite complicate to override such a limitation if it's a manufacturer's idea.
The point is, i'd love to know how many riders get killed
because of dumbass car drivers, instead of those killed by speed..

" besides that, my bike can do 0-60 in about 3 seconds so if they limit it to 65 a rookie could(and no dought would)still get into alot of trouble in a short time....limiting top speed is just stupid you're not beating the problem. now I'm not totally opposed to a system where you're stuck w/ 600cc or less for like a year before you can buy a 1000- or sum kinda (more rider experience= more horsepower) program. and also more stress on motorcycle awareness for cage lovers!
