Any updates on Scott
Any updates on Scott
Well, Scott (red R1) wrecked his bike last night. He seemed fine, but I just wanted to make sure he didn't wake up to any unknown injuries. Bike was in bad shape though.

I don't think there were any deformities, that's good.
But I'd be more worried about general swelling, contusions from the impact, abrasions from the road, punctures and laceractions from the stones and road debris, and tenderness to the abdominal-pelvic region. If scott was smart, he'd be paying his family doc a visit right now.

I talked to him today. Rash on his legs, azz check and fingers. Says the hands hurt bad cant tie or use his fingers. Told me as he was skidding on the pavement he felt his azz and hands burning so he shoved his helmet into the ground and his feet to get those extremeites off the pavement.
Says its uncomfortable but he is ok. Bike totaled but made it home.

Losing dexterity in your digit's is NOT a normal or an ok thing, no matter what the MOI is. If anyone talks to Scott again, make sure he get's it check out. Nerves are a funny thing, they don't always heal after a trauma incident which could lead to Permanent dexterity lose. Fortunately, the risk is minamalized the sooner you catch it. Let the family doc know what happened and check yourself into a hospital. Genesys has some pretty good neurosurgeons on standby if they're needed. Hopefully they won't be.
As for the road rash; keep it clean, hit it with an antiseptic spray once or twice a day, and keep it covered for a day or two, then let it heal uncovered. That'll help keep infection in check and minamalize scarring.
Get better scott!

If ya called the popo and filed an accident report, why were you in such a rush to get out of there?

Because police don't listen well when you are in a group ripping up there road every week to a bunch off crouch rocket riders and I didn't feel like getting a ticket. So, I did it om my own terms and everything went fine. I now the roomers and they are not true everything is leagal on my bike and it has full coverage so off to get an estimate as soon as the report is done. :YEAH
