How Many Stators Blown?? Post up!!!

Seems that I've seen a lot of 1000RRs having stator problems. If you've had one - post up. I'd like to get some of us together to pitch a ***** to Honda Customer Relations.

I bought an extended warranty on my bike - that Honda WON'T honor because I have HIDs on the bike (never mind that the HIDs draw only 35 watts vs. stock bulbs at 55 watts, or that they don't blow a 20amp fuse - but will fry a stator...riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight).

Also - it's quite noticable that stators for the 1000RR are on nation-wide backorder. Seems kinda fishy to me. Huge demand for stators? Wonder why...?

Anyway - post up in this thread if you've experienced the joy of a blown stator too.

 

You guys can put a Yamaha stator in and not worry about it ever going bad.

 

no a yamaha stator would be instantly destroyed by the power of a honda

 

 

My bike is about 1 yr old and i got about 12k on it havent had any trouble.......Yet!
I did howerver just change my clutch due to the outside plate exploding????
I need to replace my sprockets and chain, somehow they wore out fast?????

 

Why am i not suprised parts where out fast on your bike. LOL
