Black. Whjte.
Black. Whjte.
Anybody catch this new series on FX? I only have one thing to say about the 'way' black people are. Do blacks always assume that someone is out to get them or take something away from them? The black family on this series is losing something for sure, and that's their respect from every race because they are so ignorant and close minded.
Just thought I'd say something cause I hardly post on here,

Re: Black. Whjte.
There is no doubt Black People are much more racist than whites now a days, but all you hear about is how bad whites are. From history I've seen and read that wasn't the case for sure 30 years ago, but those days are gone I've never did anything purposely racist to anyone in my life. As long as everyone keeps giving in to minority rule, they'll always keep taking that path because it's the easy way out. Free school, getting jobs not qualified for.ectt. I'm sick of hearing I shouldn't efen reply to a job because I'm a white male. Reverse racism just causes someone that wasn't racist in the first place to become that way. So let's all get over what was done in the past and live peacefully.

First, let me say I normally don't post here on SL. I typically read the boards to see what's going on locally. Because of the generalizations mentioned in this thread, I felt the need to post.
I am black and I have watched this program. I do agree that the black father is going through life looking for racism. However, assuming that all black people are the same way is rediculous. Did you see how the poetry class reacted to the white girl when she divulged the fact that she was indeed white and not black. Within the same episode, you see very different reactions on how black people treat someone of a different race.
I don't know if any of you, that posted in this thread, are personal friends with black people but I think if you were, you wouldn't be so quick to generalize. Yes, there are black people that use race as a crutch. Yes, racism does still exist in 2006, just not as blatant as 30-40 years ago. I have personal relationships with people of many nationalities. I don't agree with perks to any race when it's based on race alone. I give the same respect to everyone that respects me, black, white, whatever. Ignorance runs rampant and that's what keeps the division among races.
Gentlemen, this is not judgment on anyone's character as I don't know any of you personally. I simply saw a post I felt the need to respond in.

+1 to the thread so far, I don't believe anyone has stepped out of bounds on stupid shiat yet......just peoples opinions to what we all see, which is of coarse different for everyone. Good conversations thus far.
