Just doing Bikes alone would never make it and then just doing stunt bikes is asking for failure. If your going to open a shop like that your best thing would be to sell and service all types of rec. vehicles. If you were doing this on the side to feel out how much interest is there maybe your best bet. As far as pricing OEM parts and other parts such as those from major suppliers you just have to beat MSRP pricing. Every place that sells parts in the Flint area charge you MSRP which is usually a lot more then what they are paying.

for sure like he said and i said in the other thread....you have to broaden your market. Ive thought about this out of my shop i have cause theres a nice strip where poeple could ride and attract business. Me and my father also own property on M-24 which i always thought would be an awesome spot for all the traffic going by seeing the bikes riding in a designated area and attracting poeples attention to help business. Commercial property is a mother ****er though. You HAVE to be turning a good profit to keep it going. Thats why im sticking to our industrial property

an internet business would be the easiest and cheapest to set up... also you wouldn't have to carry as much , if any, inventory, you can ship directly from the manufacturer...

thats what I hate about all the sportbike internet shops.. you order then they have to order and it takes 3 weeks to get anything cause they are just a middle man.
