Okay, I've just watched the 3rd special on TV about Wal-Mart in month, but this one was even better with great detail. This corporation has basically sold out the US and was the main driver behind all the Chinese products that flood this country. Some facts from the show and I know it will just bore some of ya.

-85% of all Wal-Mart products are from China alone and about 10% from other third world countrys.

-China imported nearly 180 Billion into the US this year and we exported apprx. 3 Billion to China (which was steel, hides and cotten for them to make the products they ship back).

-China has lost numerous unfair trade lawsuits for lowering there currency 40 to 50% below it's value, which allows them to dump products even cheaper here in the states. But they continue to get away with it.

-Wal-Mart over the last 10 years has made most all of it's suppliers move to China or lose their business.

-They pay their american employees **** and offer no insurance for most, but have set record profits every year.

-They have been caught using illegal aliens to build their buildings time and time again for the cheap labor and only get a hand slapping.

These are facts I'm just remembering from the TV show. FOLKS, it's time to wake up and take this serious. Please don't post stupid **** on the thread, it's pretty scary **** to me being in the automotive industry. You think Toyota is kicking our ***, just wait for the chinese cars & trucks to start coming. The rumor is a Full size SUV with a 100K warranty for about $10,000. Can you say goodbye to even more American jobs. "Hey look everyone, I just saved $5 on this product from Wal-mart but no one in my family has a freak'n job anymore"........not sure that such a great deal.

If everyone in the US stopped shopping at Wal-mart for one month we would probably put them out of business.

Sorry, but I'm so sick of this Chinese invasion and lost american jobs I have to vent on this.

 

pretty soon the your gonna have a world ecnonmy instead of an american one, people here will be poorier, poeple around the world will be less poor than now

 

Dude you don't know the half of it. I work at a walmart Food distribution center.I just got home from work at 3am. we ship all their food products to the stores. We have nothing to do with the stores. just fill orders and load the the trucks. I hate the place more than anybody. I'd quit but their nothing else around here thats going to pay $20 an hour. That might not sound to bad, but the benefits are expensive as hell. and You don't know how much BS their is to put up with. The people in the stores only make $5.25. The benefits are horrible. They try to brain wash you on how great the company is. Once a year you have to sit down and do **** on their computers. they call it "computer based learning". it tells you how great the company is, what they believe in, how you should act, what you should do to help the company. and each stage that you read. You have to take a test to continue. and once you complete it. they use it against you. Every year we have to sign a paper stating we can be fired for no reason, at anytime, with no explanation. I had a friend fired for going over 2 minutes on his break. One was fired for coming in 15 minutes late on his day off. I could go on and on, but I'm tired. If walmart went under today I would love it. they are the most crooked people you will ever see. evrything you see in the news is true. it is an evil empire.

I'venever liked walmart. I hate the very being of the place. Not because they are flushing the little business down the toilet, but because have you ever notcied the calibur of people that shop there? Seriously there is no difference between most shoppers at wal-mart and most customers you will find at Starlight Coney at 3A.M. The last time I went to walmart there was this white dude in am Iverson jerzey and white do-rag with pants hanging down around his knees chasing this toddler around the checkout lines... Did I mention the todler was only in a diaper.. Who takes their kids out in that? Put some ****** clothes on that kid...

I have and never will shop at that **** hole . I had to deal with these peeps on a personal level . I had one manager tell me that SAMS COlA was going to put Coke out of business , I never laugh so hard in my life.

 

it's scary to be in there at 2 am... there was a guy behind me, he had 4 scary features: 1-Smelly 2-Eyes didn't point in the same direction 3-Made grunting sounds 4-Was only buying large bags of catfood
