fork oil ???????
Re: fork oil ???????
If you have the OE oil in it...it should have been changed when your bike was a week old! That stuff is crap! Its basically fish oil.
Its not hard. Just need to get a manual so you know how much to put back in...or measure what you take out!
Also, make sure you do it with some good ventalation. That old stuff will STINK beyond belief!!
Get a nice bottle of Ohlins 10 weight fork oil. It will last longer.. like 2 years instead of every year. Reason being is that it has a better polymer in the lube.
And of coarse you are going to need a front kneck stand or a mc jack/lift. Something to get the weight off the front forks.
The big thing is measurement of the oil coming out of it... you need to fill it exactly to where it is suppose to be, otherwise you'll blow a fork seal. Which beings me to that...
You may want to consider changing your fork seals and bushings... especially if you wheelie alot!

No problem, feel free ask more questions... I'll try to remember to check in more often... Its not a hard job really...unless you want to get into the dis-essembling them for the swap out of the seals and bushings...
