Re: busa rider killed friday night........

I remember seeing a Bussa parked at "K" when we got there, that's the only one I can remember being out.

From what I can recall, it was an older guy riding it...

Any news on who it was??

RIP

Police were investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist Saturday morning on I-75, about one-half mile south of Lahring Road.

Darrly Von McAffee, 37, of Oak Park was riding from Flint to Detroit at about 6:15 a.m. with three other bikers when the rear tire of his bike went flat and came apart, causing him to lose control, state police at the Groveland post said.

McAffee was taken to Genesys Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The accident occurred in a construction zone, with the speed limit reduced to 45 mph. He was riding a street-legal motorcycle that had been modified for drag racing, police said.

Investigators said speed and alcohol use might have been factors in the crash.
