ive owned alot of bikes over the years,(except a kawasaki) and they all had things about them that id like to change.list the things that you dont like about your bike.

2004 gixxer 1000

1.the ignition tumbler is real cheap.my 02 had to be replaced and my 04 is close as well.its hard to get my key in the ignition at times.

2.its also real hard to get my airbox off.suzuki doesnt allow much room with the tank all the way up.

3.its too slow.

1. doesn't have a motor

Other than that I love the bike.

1) I go through Chains like no other (but that's my fault)
2) Damn Ticking Sound
3) It's Beat up
4) Second Gear Jumps on me at high RPM's


Other then that stuff, if I had the money to do the minor repairs on it right now, I'd love it 100% more

-Insurance is high since it's the number one stolen bike

Not much now, I paid it off and put PLPD on it.......other than I still have theft. If I dont spill the bike for a year, I've already started making money from what full coverage would be.

The damn thing still won't ride a wheelie. Although I am starting to second guess pushing it too hard.

It could just be operator error.
