All you need is duct tape, JB weld, and some pull ties; and it will be as good as new.

:YEAH :YEAH
Re: what we dont like about our bikes....
98 900rr:
Doesn't come with a 929 front end
Rotors warp too easily
carburated bikes stall on the 12 bar after 1-2 seconds
pegs like to loosen them selves up
front fairing has holes per-drilled from the factory to make it earier to crack
motor mouts break on the engine easily and can't be fixed easily
Gas tank is too wide

Hard seat
heavy
gears are really long winded
have to cut holes in plastics for frame sliders
engine makes the same old honda noise
foot peg feelers break off in hard cornering

Other then that stuff, if I had the money to do the minor repairs on it right now, I'd love it 100% more

!. tick when i whack the throttle and let off it ticks again like somethings tweaked or cracking. maybe someone should look at it.
2. rideing position to tough on my wrists(98 gixxer was so much more comfortable
3.thing picks front end up too easy for me, makes a beer like super wheelie juice.
4. no undertail its cut out ........

2000 Lightning-
Good:
-Very blingy from factory with chrome pieces, braided lines, and polished rims.
-Lots more aluminum to polish.
-More torque at idle than most metrics at peak.
-Loud as hell.
-Easily modified and easy to work on.
-With all the torque, bike flies up in the air.
Bad:
-FI system is not a very good design. Strays from nominal settings too easily and not user-friendly since you need a Scanalyzer to program or reset it.
-Only 5 gears. Redlines at about 140 in 5th. Bike has more power, but no more gear.
-Redline could be higher. The Buell Evo has all forged parts and I have not heard of any owners on the web blowing heads or pistons.
