Rode through another "Seat Belt Sting" operation today. 15 police cars lined up wasting our tax money to give more money to the state. What a fuuccking joke. How about a battered woman, missing child or drug dealer sting operation. That won't happen because that's dangerous and doesn't pay the city or state anything. I'm surpized they didn't pull me over, I waved my hand out through the whole sting to basically state what a JOKE. I got a dirty look from the lazy donunt eater. When will the police realize this shitt makes us hate them even more. I used to donate to there crap years back, but they haven't got a dime in years. The last time they called me for a police donation, I told them I gave my money to a lawyer to help fight a bogus loiting ticked we all got on our cycles, then I hung up.

Nope, an officer I know said this is totally seperate of normal operations. They are all called in for the sting only and get time and half or double time for it. So it doesn't mean less cops on the streets.

That's right, State Police are Funded by the government and don't call for private donations. If they need money they will go through the government for the cash.

Maybe the state boys, but garage bag sales and donations for the car stickers was big funding for local police. I wonder how well it does now.
