Machining

Anyone work in a machine shop. I need an adapter made to weld on my rim for mounting a fiddy sprocket to a pocket bike. I had a shop look into it but they said $180.

Re: Machining

I plan to disassemble the tire and rim by this weekend. I can draw up a design if someone can make it.

I'll help ya draw just to make sure it is makeable. I've seen a lot of good drawings, but no way to machine it with making a casting or stamping it...........both of which you don't want.

Re: Machining

I am getting the plate made at work. It will need the bolt holes drilled to mount the sprocket and center opened up to take a shaft that can be mounted to the hub.

Re: Machining

Just because you take a shaft in your hub doesn't mean it is always that dirty.
