Dan I'm sorry to post this in your forum but I thought it would be the most appropriate place for it.

Incase you havnt heard sometime tuesday Chris was apparently rearended by a dump truck and died from a result of the accident. I know alot of people from Keokuk check this board and may even know Chris. Some of the details are vague at the moment but its all still confusing as hell to me and I havnt done alot but space all day and wonder why god takes those who seem to be the ones that can make a differance in the world and leave the trash like me who dont amount to a motherfugkin thing.....

Chris as I type this in memory of you I cant help but feel so much pain. I know you are still with us in everything we do and I know one day I will see you again. These tears that fall will never even come close to taking away all the pain that I feel, for you and the ones that loved you the most. Your life was short lived and you were robbed of your chance to be a differance. The time that you spent on this world made an impact on so many lives, I cant help but smile thru this hurt when I think of how giving and caring you were. you will never be forgotten Chris.....

He was from Hamilton, I know you know him. He had the red nighthawk, his dad is Dr. Strope in Hamilton, goes to school at UNC or Duke (dont remember, some place in NC). If I think of anything else that may remind you I'll post it, but nothing is coming to mind right now. Shitty part is, noone knew until yesterday.

He use to run around with Kayvon ALL the time. Worked at that Pizza joint that was across the street from McDonalds. Breadough I think it was........

his funeral is sposed to be Tuesday, at the highschool in Hamilton if it's raining. If it's nice out, it's sposed to be at the football field.

Ya know those rubber wristbands that everyone wears? I found a company that can make them specialized. I am going to start by getting 40 made in red with STROPE on top and 'Live your 8' (this was Chris' motto) on the other side.
The company can make them for 3.50 a piece. If I do this I will be selling them for $5 a piece with ALL proceeds going to the Chris Strope Memorial fund.
I guess I would just like to know if anyone here would be interested in getting one or some to support his memory. If you knew Chris at all you know that he was one of the most caring and sharing person you ever met.

hey steve thanks for posting that about strope man i havent been able to get on lately. alot of the boys over here in iraq graduated with him and it hit real hard for all of us. just wanted to say that we are all goin to miss him and alot and wish we could have been there. peace out, Ross
