I am not from your area but I can say if your friend went down my heart is with you and his family. If anyone is reading this plaese take a moment of silent. I have lost 5 plus in my life time to bike wrecks. My thoughts are with you.

UPDATE:
From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram:
"FORT WORTH - A 28-year-old Irving man was killed Sunday when he lost control of his motorcycle while trying to take the Spur 280 exit from southbound Interstate 35W. Shawn Barber was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses told police that Barber was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic when he crashed about 4 p.m. Sgt. Don Hanlon said Barber had tried to pass an 18-wheeler on the left and then exit at Spur 280 when he lost control of his 2003 Honda motorcycle and crashed into a grassy area."
