RC 51 Question

I am in the market for a bike. On cycle trader I noticed that the Honda RC51 is pretty much always cheaper than Honda CBR's, Yamaha R1's, and GSXR's. On the 2003 Honda brochure the RC51 is supposed to be the top notch Honda bike (aside from the new CBR 1000). The " Hayden" racing edition. If this bike is supposed to be top notch why are they always priced cheaper than the other top sportbikes? Does the RC51 have long term problems, or is it not a good bike? New these bikes cost a grip but used I have seen some with 3000 miles selling for like six grand. Why is that?
Thanx peeps stay up.

I have no idea where you're finding that price, but that's schweet. Brand new they run $10,500 or so. Not sure, but I'd take one eventually for track riding

Re: RC 51 Question

the RC51 is a very good bike...for track days or hiting the corners hard on the street...it's not a very good stunt bike...HONDA RIDER-4-LIFE... :YEAH :YEAH

Re: RC 51 Question

the RC 51 is wicked...i like it cause it's a v-twin, and that it's different from almost everything else out there because of that. if you can get it cheap, then do it, cause it's a really enjoyable bike. now as for stunting factor, i got no clue....
