Insurance
Hey guys im new to this forum. Im 16 1/2 right now w/ no tickets or crashes on my driving record. My mom is making me start out small with a motorcycle. So im gonna get an old honda like 360 or somthin in that nature. She said when im 17 i can get a "real" bike. Ive always heard for like a 16- like 21 year olds insurance for say a new 600 crotchrocket would be like 3000- like 5000$ a year and ive always thought there is no way ill ever be able to get one like that. But i was just on progressive insruance's website looking at quotes and i was looking at like a 2003 suzuki gsxr600, 2003 honda 600rr, and a 2003 kawasaki zx-6. I chose the liability with like 25,000person/50,000accident/10,000property. I firgured all you need is liability to ride. Is there any other "good" coverages i need or should get? but back to my question.I click to get my quote and it says 378.00$ a year??!?!?! is that right?? this is for a 16 year old.. That seems really low from what ive heard insurance for a new bike and new rider being 3000$+. Can anyone help me out here if this seems right??
