About your post. No. All natural. I don't even take supplements other than protein and the regular old daily vitamin. I just started taking glutamine to see if I gain any but I don't personally think its worth it....Gotta look long term to see.
About being taller. Yes, it is ALOT harder for us. Our arms/everything is longer, yup that too
... When we lift we have to lift it that much further than the little person. yeah, the small person is crammed into a little body so he looks "buff" but in reality doesn't mean strong. In taller people, when you do get to the bulk you like it is much more impressive than a bulky small dude. Plus you are without a doubvt stronger. Size on a larger person mean actual strength. Now, don't get me wrong, the little buff guy may be strong but cannot pursue the training as long as larger guys. Why? Our frame is build "better" for this type of activity. Our bones, etc can endure more stress than they can. So as a result, we can get ALOT stronger in the long run. But it also has a lot to do with genetics too. I am 6'3" 268 and have a fair amount of mass without lifitng. Some are thin, some are excessively fat, some are just born with the potential to do better. If you are tall and thin then you will have very hard times trying to gain mass. All in all we have to work harder but the results look better and are better in physical activities. I mean, unless your a horse jockey, it is better to have a little bit of height to you. Whther it be a quarterback (can see over the guys), a boxer (longer reach) ect... When you max out and he maxxes out, at the same wieght lets say. He wants to think that you are of equal strength. But that is not true. Tell him to do it to the length of your arms. He would have to come down, completely up, back down, and up 1/4 of the way as you had to go allllll the way up to the arm legnth.
