it's based of both of our incomes, who has the insurance on the kids, and who has the kids the majority of the time. i bet if i lived in kansas and he was getting them every other weekend it would be less

the case is in kansas....here is what they are taking into consideration....cost of living, i have the kids 90% of the year, the kids age, both our incomes (my income is on there as minimum wage).
now, they didn't take into consideration that he has other two other kids...if they take that then it will drop at least $200. insurance, he has a family plan that doesn't cost any extra for them to be on there.

the only reason why it jumped is because his income is currently based at minimum wage

i think i'd call myself a sucka if i took it up the *** like that. i'd have to go to court and have that **** reduced, otherwise i wouldn't be able to buy my kid anything when i'm with him. plus i'd have him staying in the ghetto with me. not safe.

 

i got off good with child support. i don't pay child support, i just pay all their expenses directly. even if one of them goes on an $8 field trip, i cover that. i felt that was fair and would be easier on me than what courts say.

 

lol my mom paid the 1k a month, and still had to buy everything .. shoes, clothes, spending money when i was younger..

 

ur dad sounds like a jackass. i knew a guy who was in ur mom's shoes AND the grandmother took care of his kid while he was deployed. the mom just got the checks and spent the money on herself. she didn't even take care of her own kid.

i remember him saying how the grandmother asked the mother for money for clothes for the kid and the mother told her she'd have to pay her back the money. i'm sorry, but some people should be forced to get fixed so they never breed.

**i'd put ur dad on the spot if i were in ur shoes, bray, by asking him why he didn't spend the money on **** for his own kid. if he says some bullshit like he had to pay the mortgage, i'd ask him why he didn't man up and buy his own house AND provide his kid.

 

na it was a long story, my dad actually works 2 jobs bustin his *** to make ends meet, he just didnt want to give up our house and move into the hood.. my mom agreed... But my dad was always a good father, we just have tough love lol

preach. i never got help cleaning my room when i was little , they shouldnt have help also.

 

even when one kid is left at my house and all 3 made the mess, i tell him/her that thats what they get for not cleaning it up when they were there and that i'm not gonna clean up their mess.

 

i remember when i was little and left a mess everywhere, my dad would threaten to just throw all my **** away so i wouldnt make a mess again, that used to work all the time.. cause he actually threw away some of the less valuable toys lol so i always thought he was serious

 

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i did that with my son, the EXACT SAME THING, just a couple of months ago. had to throw away a few lego blocks. i told him he had until i got the garbage can to clean up and anything left on the floor was going in the garbage. i've never seen that boy clean up so fast

 

another time, i took my daughter to a restaurant and told her she had until dessert came out to eat her plate or she wasn't getting any. she saw the dessert coming and she mashed up aaaall her food, put it on her fork, and tried to put it all in her mouth. i let her have dessert for trying, lol.
