So my transmission got real bad this morning. Cruising at 70 on the highway and it downshifted to 2nd out of nowhere. The engine went to redline for the first time in its life, and I drove the rest of the way to work in second gear.
I just called the first local tranny shop that came up on google and got a quote of $2000. Thats about 25 cents less than the entire truck is worth, so it looks like im officially in the market for a new truck.
