Okay now heres probably a stupid neal question. I cant get my front sprocket off the old motor. Its in gear sitting on the floor but when I put any force to try and loosen the nut it eventually spins the sprocket a little like its trying to bump start the bike. How the **** can I get the sprocket off? Should I jam something in there so the sprocket cant spin at all? If so, what?

I think the trick is not getting flung off the bike..

planting your foot to get it to spin is the easy part......

staying on the bike seems to be the hard part....

Word. Ive seen Mike almost get tossed a bunch of times. He always manages to hold onto the bike but yeah it just looks like a violent highside. **** this sucks that I gotta bring the motor somewhere to have the sprocket removed I wish I wouldve taken it off before pulling the motor but I wasnt thinking about that ****

feed the chain into the sprocket as you turn it. it will wind up enough to get stopped on the case

I got a bullshit impact gun that plugs into the wall. You think that would do it Iono - it seems weak as hell. I gotta see if I have the adapter coz its a 3/4" drive and I dont think I have a 14mm 3/4" drive socket. And I dont think I have the adapter either so Im probably fucked either way
