Re: Omr Subcage
You can't be sure without a cup or other stress test on the steel. It's a possibility. We used to throw out a a lot of steel (actually send it back to the manufacturer) for material defects that happen all the time from unwanted contaminants at the melting of steel, the steel forming or the heat treating.
I don't go in tygershark threads and bash their product or promote SI blatantly, just like I don't go into an OMR thread and bash your stuff or blatantly promote a competitors.
And I am not sponsored on dan's level - I don't compete so I am not pro.

at the pro statement you used to go crazy promoting si in the susa omr thread
i have seen quite a few si f4i cages crack there so i doubt it's a metal issue , it's like i said some thing has to give ,if you keep dropping a 400 pound bike on a cage any cage will break eventually ..
don't miss understand what im saying , i think the si f4i crash cage design is diesel .

- The 03-06 CBR 600RR , 03-05 Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
- The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
- THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
- All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.
- omr subcages are available for all makes and models but only the ones listed above are available for shipping
