I spent yesterday morning on a roof shingling then the afternoon wakeboarding. It was my first time trying it and I couldn't get out of the water. I think I'm just too heavy. My friend started last weekend and he's getting pretty good already. He was able to gap the wake this weekend.

Re: Omr Subcage

I'm not sure it was the boat? The board just stays under the water and never actually starts to pivot me whatsoever. The board belongs to a kid who weighs about 160, maybe it's just too small. I think as my body lifts a little it's just pushing the board under more and I weigh too much for it to stay on top. I really want to wakeboard though.

Whatever, I'm buying a kneeboard.

I got up 3 out of 5 times .... it's a ton of work ....

I also surfed as well, that was a ton of fun, my buddy uses his boat and puts everyone on one side of the boat and it makes a huge wave like 5-7 feet behind the boat, and you just hop up with a surf board and ride the big wave, my buddy thats real good throws the rope back in and just uses the wave to go for a long time ....

I think kneeboarding is harder, my buddy is like 6' and 250 lbs he kills the wake .... i figured it out after the first time i got drug through the water - keep the board high and pop your hips up as the boat starts to pull you
