now i have student loans. this sucks

 

We have always had separate accounts mostly because I'm greedy. I used to make a lot more money than her and liked to be able to buy things. I didn't want to have to ask her if I could drop $1500 on a dirt bike. Once we have a child, it just doesn't make sense to have separate accounts any more. I also used to live paycheck to paycheck. I didn't want her spending any money out of the account that I didn't know about. I've never bounced a check and I didn't want to start.

 

Call back and say "someone just called me from this number but didn't say anything".

 

If that was the case in my house, I would have ended up paying them all.

my reason for asking is i was wondering how do you put money into your savings...like how do you guys decide who gets to put more money in their savings. i'm on this kick where i'm trying to figure out how we'll be able to retire when we're suppose to and i have no idea how i'll have the money to.

if you come out of there and fall into a job making 40k those loans will disappear pretty damn quick

 

 

most nurses I know make 60K plus ... in this area

i'm not going for my rn right now, i'm going for my lpn. it's a different rank and i won't be making that much. here they start out around the 40ks. rn's start out around 70k i believe.

i can't wait for that.
i did finally decide i want to be in the home health care nursing field though...so at least i know what area i want.

 

they START at 60k? we've been hearing LPN's start around 40

mike has a friend who is a stay at home dad cause his wife is a nurse. they make bank. i'm excited to do it....sorta lol
they are probably thinking rn. i never really knew there was a difference in nurses rank until i looked into becoming one.

 

I've lost all the money I've put in there this year. I've only gained the company match.
