i cant help the lean, im trying. I try going in on low idle, high idle, leaning in, leaning out.. the same thing happens every time, i do 1 to 1.5 circles with a 1 foot diameter, then i either spin upward as the bike highsides or spiral downward as the bike lowsides. my forks are too high and i cant stay in the circle if/when i go in with them lower

if you come in on idle and don't lean the bike in so far you won't have to make the circle so tight just go into it slow and easy and worry about getting them tight and fast later

ok heres where im at..

I come in on idle and I dip the bike a tiny bit to the left. As you know, the dipping process puts you behind balance point a little, then yout have to give it some brake to get back to bp (or even a little ahead). Thats what I cant do. If I give it too little brake, it keeps dipping until the left side is on the ground. If I give it enough brake to stop the dipping, I get 1/4 turn and a violent highside. meaning the rear wheel is turning super tight, but the front of the bike isnt.

If i drag my foot, i can pull in the clutch at that point, and push the bike back into the circle with my foot. But you know im heavily against that.

iii nothing wrong with using your foot to learn and as far as braking to come back out of that dip staying past balance point is the secret to not high siding , i think your just trying to turn them too tight while your learning

i normally lowside them, like 18 out of 20 tries. The other 2 are highsides.

with every other circle, i like to get ahead of balance point. because its a lot easier to give it some gas than it is to feather the clutch when you get too far back.

thats exactly what im trying not to do. How do I stop them from tightening up?

Re: OMR SUBCAGE [subframe cages]

So I finally broke my SI cage. Only took 100-200 big drops so I'd say it did its job. Cant really see the pic too well coz it was from my camera phone but it cracked straight through. Just took it off the bike and am waiting for Nick1000 to call me back so he could weld it for me. Hopefully that'll be tonight.

Dont know what a gusset is? And do you mean weld it then put a gusset or dont weld it and just put a gusset?
