i almost bought it BUT i was the auctioneer at the time and already have mt 1ton diesel and that 86 GMC and didn't want my lawn looking like a trash car lot...


the term "caught me sleeping" refers to anything where in hindsight it looks to be/have been a good deal or something you regret...

in the context i used, i was stating that i wasn't paying attention at the time and screwed up i shoulda bought the ******* pickup
