That means the load was a big wind drag or that the axle bearings were dragging bad, not that it was heavy. Around town is where weight kills fuel milage, on the highway drag causes bad fuel milage.

i don't think there is much drag on an 11 shank ripper ripper...thing is 25 ft long and 6ft wide and only 3-4ft tall...but whole thing is made out of 1" steel plate and in the shanks the plate is trippled up...i was WAY over weight on the 20k GVWR trailer

 

ya didn't have to worry about it geling up that day haha
