Tech

• The 03-06 CBR 600rr & the 03-05 Yamaha R6 pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position!
• The 01-03 gsxr's have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
• THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lowers 3 inches wider (Then stock)
• All other models are in the stock location except they are rotated on there axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.

i think i'm gonna need an r6 subcage roger, my left pass peg bracket is tweaked a bit, i dunno how it happened, but the pegs slanted a bit forward

 

i have an 03 04 05 r6 cage sitting here packaged up and ready to go ..

so is the idea of a subcage just to make your pegs stronger?
or does it have to do with the subframe as well?

 

well there are a few reasons the subcage is a good idea first and fore most you have a solid place to put your foot it doesn't flex like the stock peg bracket...

and if you crash as most stunters do you wont bend or brake the bracket like a stock one..

and i also rotate the pegs forward so they don't fold up by mistake....

also on the r6 i move the location of the peg out a little to make it easier to get your leg around the tail section while in a staggered wheelie..

an unintended bonus because of the way the r6 cage mounts it is very easy to lower the position of the peg if you so desire by just putting some washers in between the cage and the subframe...

and it does stiffen up the subframe also it is like putting a steel brace from one side to the other and that helps keep the subframe for tweeking to one side or the other as most do when you gorilla scrape them to hard..

i could go on but i will stop the sales pitch here..lol

 

I own the flat black R6 in the pic on each page and I will say you wont be dissapointed when you put the OMR cage on you bike...
