Re: subframe cage
I *think* it's electrical somewhere. It'll run fine for a bit... Then I do a wheelie and all of a sudden it's like it's running on 2 cylinders... Let it sit for an hour and it seems fine again....

Re: subframe cage
Going into "Limp mode" I heard something about bikes having a limp feature where they barely run but are designed to run enough to "limp" home. It can be caused by certain fuel anomolies, it happened to me...........exact thing happened to me on my Aprilia until I ran a whole tank of gas out because I put in some injection cleaner under the guidance of a more experinced friend, maybe senile now that I think of it.
But yea, after a wheelie, or hard, hard acceleration and like coming to a stop (off ramp situation) it would even fall on it's face cuz aprilia's cant fire on 2 to miss, it only has 2 to start. That thing firing on one cyl. dude, you can feel it through your shoes and the street!! It's a ground pounder.
....just an idea
