subframe cage
Re: subframe cage
Sorry there guy, I know how you are partial to them.
That poor 900 sits though now that I have the other'n. And I do live on a square mile out in the country, 1/2 of which is a sod farm, so you see my desire for something a little more versatile. Especially when I am at home, and not at the lots, I can be riding all the time, besides look at the cool stuff that Mr. Old man makes for the dirty ones!
It is time to say goodbye, and let someone who will actually use it, have it. I did not say that it was going to be easy either, but when I get the 07 streeter after the Aprilia is gone also: Something tells me that I will feel alot better!!
Re: subframe cage
And I think that looks pretty trick on the 150, I may have to make my own something. I was looking at them(crf450r) and wondering about my left foot.
Re: subframe cage
Yea, I've wanted one since the first time I saw them. I also think that the rear pegs are in an awkward pos. on the bike as well. If you can like tweek them down and back a bit.... I dunno, you tell me what you think whenever you get started.
Your'e the man.

Re: subframe cage
usually i ride the bike first and then decide if the pegs should be moved only because if i ask i will get ten differant oppinions and i have to decide one way or the other because i build a jig to make all the cages after that...but they are easily modified if you want when you get it

the 600rr and the r6 pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position
all other models are in the stock location except they are rotated on there axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up ,this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie

You will have to let me know best advice on modification.
And I like your wording,"when you get it"......not "if you get it".
That inspires confidence in me for you !!

Re: subframe cage
yours sits higher then the stock pipe so it should fit ,dave has a stainles cover that hides the batt pocket and it is lower so i think you will have more clearance then him
yours looks shorter too so there will be more room
