Re: subframe cage

Hey Rodger, Here is my halph *** attempt to support my subframe. I have already broke the supports off jumping the bike off curbs and rairoad tracks, so your **** looks tight. When i came down hard it on stoppies or jumps, the wheel hit and snapped off the supports. I saw a few sub cages when i went to the summer nationals in woosta mass. Don't remember who's bike they were on, I don't pay too close attention ?
I want to buy one if they fit !
I think my rear sets and foot controlls are the same on my 02 1,000 and my 00 750 ??? I will check when i get home from work.

if you have a 02 1000 then just see if the stock peg brackets fit and then measure from the right mounting point to the left mounting point and if it is the same then it should fit the only other factor would be the loop going from one side to the other but it looks like you have plenty of room for that and the exhaust mount will work because you have a strap and that can go any where

Re: subframe cage

Sup fellow tool junkie? I picked up a 40pc metric tap and die set and a 5 piece easy out set both for only $2.25 on ebay today. Something that I can't believe that I lived without for this long!

Just thought I'd share a bit of my good fortune to your thread content...
