Man I'm so lucky that no cars were coming the other way. I dumped right into the oncoming lane.

 

I had the tip of my finger and about 1/4 of my nail ripped off once before too, it'll grow back. The worst part is the nail grows faster than you finger heals so its gonna be pushing the scab and healing meat off at least that's how mine was

 

Yay something to look forward to. I still have it bandaged up even though I should prob let some air to it.

 

nah I would keep it bandaged up if it just happened yesterday, you don't want it to dry out, in few days you might want to start soaking it in warm water and hyrogen peroxide every so often, that'll keep it soft and let the nail grow through it instead of pushing it up. center of the nail not so bad but the sides where it naturally kinda digs through your finger, it heals up in front of that and then that part pushes it all forward and up and off... Be sure to get pics! mine you can't even tell now, even my fingerprint came back and a lot of it was just flat scar tissue for a while.

peroxcide should only be used once to clean the cut if you use it alot it wiil kill the skin all around the wound and make the wound take longer to heal ....

 

yeah maybe I shouldn't have done that but I just wanted to be sure it didn't get infected and have to get my finger amputated. I only used a capful to about a gallon of water

 

yea i ripped off the end of my middle finger and i was looking at the nice clean white bone sticking out and i was ok at first but after i looked at it long enough i stuck the part that got ripped off back on and that made me feel a little woooooooozy hahahahaha

it took like ten years before all the feeling came back ,and it just hurt for like a year or two especially when it was cold....
