Old Man Roger,Phil,Marshall and Colt
Re: Old Man Roger,Phil,Marshall and Colt
No I could'nt drill the plug. So I put the bolt back in and put jb weld all around it. I didnt let it dry enough cause I wanted to ride so it started leaking again. Then when I took the bolt back out I stripped the threads. Now im screwed
Re: Old Man Roger,Phil,Marshall and Colt
yeah... you can definitely have that one fixed tho.. i used to fix them myself all the time..
trail70 is a 5 speed with a manual clutch tho... or is it a 4 speed... dammit it sucks getting old

Re: Old Man Roger,Phil,Marshall and Colt
I dont think I can just fix this though. Theres a crack on each side of the hole so Its going to leak either way.
whats trail 70 ? Is that a brand? You think I could fit a crf 70 engine in there?
Re: Old Man Roger,Phil,Marshall and Colt
1970's and 80's honda trail70 was a step thru motorcycle... there are 765,493,220 of them in haiti.
like i said before tho... get out the yellow pages and find a welding shop. when you call them, ask if they heliarc ( tig ) aluminum.. you dont want someone to use a mig gun on it. tig only. anybody that is any good at welding aluminum will fix it easy. i used to charge people between 25 and 50 bucks depending on how bad the cases were fucked up
