gave up already trying to sell my bike to get a cheaper one. so im gonna be gettin a cage and 12 bar very soon. my current gearing is -1 +1. but i basically wanna learn the slow ****. theres probably been hundres of sprocket posts, but from anyone with a 750, how have you geared up you bike and what was the top speed after the sprocket change?? and what idle did you have your 750 at??

 

02 750. +20 rear, stock front. about 110 top speed. Can bring it up in every gear. Awesome for slow ****! Not very good for highway. But still doable... just kind of annoying

I'm -2/+20 on my 1000. That is a good gearing for slow/engine braking stuff. It is doodoo on the streets/highway.
