What are the best brake pads for endos?

I have an 01 R6 and right now i have EBC brake pads. The only problem is when i try to roll endos, the brakes just stop to soon. As soon as i grab the brake hard , the front brakes slow the bike down so fast almost as the front locks up. It just throws me up real fast. Like im doing a fast stoppie. Im wondering if i should go back to stock brakes or what everyone else runs. THe main problem is the brakes just grab to hard and stop the bike. Im afraid im going to lock the front up and flip it. Thanks in advance.

Re: What are the best brake pads for endos?

is your r6 the only bike you have problems on? are you able to roll some nice stoppies on other bikes or are you just learning? i pull some nice stoppies on my gixer and r1 my r6 doesnt stoppie at all verry well but im almost positive its because its lowered... i havent herd much about the type of pads. mine are all stock i plan on trying others sooner or later i know that the piolet tires are suposed to be good but i dont have them on my bike. well let us all know whats up if your good with your stoppies on other bikes or not it may be the way you got your suspention set up or somthing but i say the stock pads should be ok

EBC pads are crap. Straight treebark. They are only good for a couple cycles and then they are done.

Re: What are the best brake pads for endos?

I figured it was the pads. I dont have a problem doing them on my dirt bike. I havent tried on anyone elses bike. I have the front suspension set a little softer than medium. The rear i just left set the way it was. These pads just grab to good and cause the front to lock up.
