Re: Stunt Jackets

I recommend the Joe Rocket Pheonix Jacket. It lets plenty of air through and comes with a ton of armour. Has held up well through several crashes at varied speeds for me.

Re: Stunt Jackets

I have a Joe Rocket blow through and it STILL get's hot as hell in it.
It has plenty of armor and gives you good enough air while moving.

I like that Alpine Stars jacket your looking at, don't know what kind of air flow you'll get with it though. I have the Leather version of that jacket(Alpine Stars Stunt)
My buddy has the Icon TiMax and he says it's okay. It has vents to let air flow through it.

I rock the Rocket. (phoenix) Workx great. I go down nearly every day practicin slow s#it. Havent went down over 40 in it yet but it breathes good and has held up great for nearly a year so far and has plenty-o-life left. Plus as a added bouns it will leave you enough $$$ to fix your bike. Those other jacks are nice but look @ the price. Rocket cant be beat.

Re: Stunt Jackets

The ultimate in cool (temp) protection that I have seen is body armor like J.T. Holt uses...there are many brands. Basically it is armour with netting. You put it on like a jacket, but essentially you are just wearing elbow, shoulder, chest and back protection within a net like material to hold them together.

Some makes are: Acerbis, Azonic, EVS, O'neal, SixSixOne, etc.

I belive they are designed to wear under a jersey for motocross peeps who would obviously be in the heat out there in the desert. Like I mentioned before, I have seen J.T. wear something like this and I have seen a female version before as well on a local girl.

Here's a couple examples:

I wear a full leather perforated jacket, and I live in Az. Sweat is better than blood.

I'm with this one......I ride on 90 plus days and my head sweats a whole lot more than my body.....plus better protection than the cheesecloth ones....
