i need the do's and dont's of ...
being a passenger of a motorcycle.. i love my girlfriend to death but when she wants to go out with me on the bike i practically break down into tears... as from the time she gets on the bike till when she gets off it feels like i have a 120lb backpack on... my lower back kills after 20 minutes and my wrists feel like they are goin to fall off, and tight turns (like some offramps) are pretty much impossible... she's been on plenty of harleys but im sure the back of my 929rr is MUCH different. so i just wanted any and all suggestions that i could tell my girlfriend to try so that way i am not miserable giving her a ride
P.S. ive never given anyone a ride on the bike besides my girl so i dont know what it feels like to give a ride to someone who knows how to ride passenger... ive been told that it feels like they are not even there.. i hope to acheive this feeling before i swear off ALL passengers

tell her to put her hands on the back of the tank and support her weight that way, its the easiest way to have a passenger on a sport bike, its alot easier on the rider and the passenger.

Just like the other guys said....she needs to support her own weight. If she is more comfortable with her arms wrapped around your waist....then she needs to support her weight through her legs when you're riding and brace herself when you come to a stop by putting her hands on the gas tank.
Or if you're wearing a jacket unzip your pockets and let her hold on to those. That is actually how I ride passenger. Just make sure she keeps the jacket tight around your waist so that she's not jerking you all around the bike.
You are correct though that your 929 is ALOT different than a Harley. As for the turns.....walk her through what you're doing....slowing doing to go into the turn...looking into the turn....and then excellerating out of the turn. If she knows what to expect she may be less tense. Also tell her as hard as it is.....not to lean away from the turn.....she needs to lean with you into the turn. If it is possible to have her take a Motorcyle Riding Course...it would help her to understand how to ride a bike.
Good luck!
